To dry or not to dry

I hear from many different sources that eating shrooms straight off the cake is the bee's knees

, but ive also heard (and the only way ive tried) that dried shrooms hit harder and last longer.... Somebody please end the maddness going on in my head

Well some people say that fresh is better but I really found no difference at all. I prefer to dry them down to powder and cap them. Lets face it they are not the nicest of things to eat!!!! Also its really convenient to have them capped so you can carry them about and take them at will! :)

i love shrooms, i do! why have them dry when you can have them fresh is what i always say. but you need to dry them for storage, so fresh if they just came up but if your gonna eat them later then its better to dry them.. just my .02
