Magic Mushbag Rye - Sterilized Substrate Bag

Avalon's Magic Mushbag Rye contains sterilized rye, suitable for spore production of most edible mushrooms. It is equipped with an air filter and rubber injection port, which hermetically seals the bag after injection with a psilocybe cubensis spore syringe or mycelium syringe. Once the rye is colonized on the mycelium, it can be used for various cultivation methods. Our Magic Mushbag weighs over 1400 grams and consists of sterilized organic rye (contains no pesticides or other harmful substances).

Contains:

Sterilized substrate with a moisture content of 60-65%. A mixture of rye, vermiculite, perlite and gypsum.

Perfect combination: Combine sterilized substrate boxes with the 10 ml or 25 ml liquid culture and let the customer choose a syringe or vial.

Features

The sterilized substrate for mushrooms can be thought of as soil for a plant. This sterilized substrate must be inoculated with our liquid cultures obtained from our spores.

Note: The Avalon Magic Mushbag does not contain syringes or spores. To obtain these, choose them from our syringes, spore prints or vials. The process of growing mushrooms with the Avalon Mushbag is fairly simple, although you must be careful not to contaminate the mushbag after colonization (after the spores become a mold).

• Clean the rubber seal with the alcohol prop.
• Hold a lighter under the needle of your spore syringe (not included with the Avalon Magic Mushbag).
• Press the syringe slightly so that a few drops come out (this cools the needle).
• Inject the liquid through the syringe rubber.
• Store the Avalon Magic Mushbag in a dark and warm place (preferably 28 degrees Celsius).
• After complete colonization (the rye has turned completely white), there are many ways to grow mushrooms with it. One way is to open the top of the bag and put some vermiculite on the top as a protective layer. Fold the top over, use paper clips to close the filter bag and wait for the mushrooms to start growing.
