Do all the herbs have the same relaxing effect?
The effects of the herbs that you see on this page can vary wildly. One type of herb may simply help you relax, while another may make you feel sleepy. Sometimes, all you need is a little bit of an herb to create a substantial effect. For instance, this applies to Artemisia, which is also used to create Absinthe. You must be careful with these types of herbs and be cautious about how much you take. Other herbs, such as Mulungu, make you feel sleepy in a wonderful way. The white lotus contained in it also has a euphoric effect.
How do you use relaxing herbs?
Most of the herbs on this page are used in tea. This is the best way to enjoy the active substances, because drinking tea also happens to be relaxing. If you are looking for something different, then you can make the Artemisia Absinthe that we mentioned earlier or mix the blue or white lotus with wine. You must allow the herbs to sit in the wine bottle for several weeks.
When you use relaxing herbs, be aware of your activities. You may feel sleepy, less alert and have less concentration, which means you should not drive. Some of these herbs are addictive, too. Therefore, you should always read the package and insert (if available) thoroughly before use. Do you have questions about relaxing herbs or other products in our selection?
