Lemon X: four guarana capsules in a tin
Lemon X is made by DNX, a brand that sells its range under the line the building blocks of energy. The packaging is a flat yellow tin with a hinged lid, about the size of a mint box, and it holds four capsules. The lid states the count, 4x caps, while the side of the tin carries the words herbal, alcohol and club. That tells you where this one belongs: the energizers, the party shelf you may already know from the Happy Caps at Avalon Magic Plants.
Guarana extract forms the base of the recipe. Guarana is a climbing plant from the Amazon whose seeds contain caffeine naturally, and those seeds have long been used in drinks and powders. Ginger powder goes in as well, together with vitamin C (ascorbic acid), vitamin B3 (niacin) and vitamin B12 (methylcobalamin), plus chromium in the form of chromium III chloride. Rice flour fills out the capsule and lemon flavouring supplies the taste the name promises. The capsule shell is made of gelatine, so this item is not suitable for vegetarians or vegans.
Usage
Take one capsule with a glass of water or juice. The German packaging text works with a window of thirty to forty five minutes in advance. Do not take more than one capsule per 24 hours.
Ingredients
Rice flour, guarana extract, vitamins (ascorbic acid, niacin, methylcobalamin), chromium III chloride, ginger powder, gelatine (capsule), colourants (E102, E133, E171), flavouring (lemon).
