Hemparillo Sweets: the sweet one in the hemp range
Sweets is the red pouch in the Hemparillo range by Royal Blunts. The packaging runs bright orange red, tobacco free is printed across the top with 4 hemp wraps below it, and the red all natural band sits along the bottom. Four wraps are inside, made from hemp leaf rather than tobacco leaf, so nicotine never enters the picture.
Where Blueberry and Mango Haze put a recognisable fruit up front, Sweets stays broader: sweet, without being tied to one specific fruit. That makes it one of the easier flavours to start with, because it clashes less with whatever you roll inside. The aroma is worked into the leaf and shows up most clearly when you open the pouch and on the first few draws.
When sweet helps and when it does not
A sweet wrap lays a layer over your own mix. If you have herbs whose own smell you want to taste, that works against you and the unflavoured Naked is the better match. Looking for the opposite, something that rounds off the sharp edge of a heavy mix, and Sweets becomes a sensible candidate.
Rillo size, filling and rolling
Hemparillo comes in Rillo size: shorter and narrower than the classic blunt wrap, with roughly 1 to 1.5 grams as a guideline per wrap.
- Grind your herbs to a medium texture so nothing falls out of the ends.
- Open a wrap along the seam and spread your mix along its length.
- Keep the ends clear and roll the wrap into a cylinder.
- Moisten the edge and press the seam down firmly.
- Run a lighter briefly along the seam and twist the tip shut.
Royal Blunts states that hemp leaf burns more calmly and evenly than cheap tobacco leaf. You notice that mostly when you avoid rolling too tightly, since an overly packed wrap draws hard no matter how good the leaf is.
Storage and the rest of the series
Do not leave the pouch open. The sweet aroma fades and the leaf dries out, after which it tears as soon as you unroll it. Cool and dry storage is all it takes. Besides Sweets, Avalon Magic Plants stocks Naked, Blueberry, Cali-Fire, Mango Haze and OG Kush from the same series, plus filter tips and papers in the same section. Every order leaves discreetly packaged.
