Mascotte Greens Active Filters 200: green tips with activated carbon
Mascotte made the Greens Edition for those who care about colour too. The filters are green, like your herbs, and come 200 to a bag. Cheaper per filter than loose packs of 10, and you're set for a while.
An active filter is a tip with a core of activated carbon. That carbon is extremely porous and traps tar and fine particles from the smoke. The smoke feels cooler and smoother, with less bitter aftertaste. According to Mascotte, you'll notice little difference in the effect of your herbs.
Size and use
With a 6 mm diameter and a length of around 27 mm, these are slim filters. They fit king size and king size slim papers, and 1¼ papers usually work too. Place the filter at the end of your paper and roll it in. Because the filter is pre-shaped, you get a firm, straight joint. Find papers in our rolling papers.

Good to know
An activated carbon filter makes your smoke smoother, but it doesn't make smoking harmless. Use each filter once: after one joint the carbon is saturated and filters noticeably less. Keep the bag closed and dry, as moisture reduces the effect. Grind your herbs evenly first with one of our grinders, so your joint burns more steadily and the filter draws better.

What's the difference with the white Active Filters?
Only the colour. Filling, size and effect are the same.
Can I use a filter twice?
You can, but we don't recommend it. The carbon is largely saturated after one joint, so the second time it filters less and you taste more.
Do they fit regular papers?
