The Bulldog opened its doors in Amsterdam in 1975 and grew into a brand with its own clothing, souvenirs and smoking accessories. These filter tips belong to that line: a plain booklet of card, printed with the logo half the city recognises. Each booklet gives you 35 tips.
Slim means the tips are narrower than the standard size. That shows in the roll: the end stays more compact, which suits narrow papers and king size rolls you would rather not build too thick. The card is stiff enough to hold its shape once rolled, and each tip tears away cleanly along the perforation.
What a tip is for
A tip gives your roll a firm start: the end stays open, the roll keeps its shape and no loose bits end up in your mouth. It also gives you something to hold onto as the roll gets shorter. Roll the card up tightly, a little looser than a spiral, and turn it into the paper as you begin. Want an easier draw, roll the tip slightly wider; prefer more resistance, roll it tighter.
The booklet itself is flat and flexible, so it survives a while in an inside pocket or tobacco pouch without creasing the way a loose piece of card would. Once empty, you tear off the cover and bin it; there is nothing more to it.
