Borneo red Vein is the most sedative Kratom strain in Avalon's range of kratom powders Our Borneo Red Vein Kratom is available as a fine kratom powder. Borneo is sometimes referred to as Bali Kratom.

Effects: Sedative, analgesic and relaxing, in moderate to small amounts slightly euphoric, can be very sedative when used in larger amounts (over 12 grams). This strain contains relatively more Mitragynine then other strains, this alkaloid is known for its analgesic properties.
Amount: Good results are obtained when 7-9 grams are used.

Usage: Used for pain relief, by opiate addiction to stop the carvings, as a relaxant and as a sleeping aid.

Duration: On set is somewhat slow, can take up to 30-45 minutes. But the effects itself last over 6-7 hours.

Some notes
The amounts used mentioned are the averages for a novice kratom user who weights around 100kg, but it is advisable to take a low amount first, since higher ones build up tolerance more quickly.
Amounts in general are like this

Mild Effects: < 5 grams , which is 80% of a tablespoon.
Medium/Good Effects: >5-7 grams bit more then a tablespoon.
Strong Effects: > 7-8 grams of kratom powder. One and a half tablespoon and above

Blending: Mixing or blending the various powders do result in complete different effects. Basically all powders can be mixed, but in general the Reds mix better with the whites and green. Of course this is very personal.
