Maeng Da Super Green: green kratom powder from Southeast Asia
There is a bit of trade language behind the name Maeng Da. Growers and traders in Thailand use the term to signal their better grading, not a separate plant species or a particular region. Super green adds another step to that: within green leaf, the pick of the batch gets that label. Anyone comparing kratom runs into this naming everywhere, and it helps to know it describes commercial grading rather than any botanical certification.
The plant itself is Mitragyna speciosa, a tree native to the forests of Thailand, Malaysia and Indonesia and a relative of the coffee plant. Leaves are picked by hand, dried and then milled. Green, red and white refer to the colour of the leaf vein and to the way the leaf was dried after harvest, with green sitting between the other two. What arrives is a fine powder in a light to medium green shade, carrying the herbal smell that dried kratom leaf is known for. Colour and aroma shift a little from harvest to harvest, as they do with any plant based product.

You set the quantity yourself with this product. Take 25 grams to try this grading out, 100 and 500 grams are the usual sizes, and 1, 5 or 10 kilos put you in bulk territory. Store it dry, dark and well sealed, and do not leave the bag open, because ground leaf draws in moisture and clumps up. Keep it out of reach of children, avoid it during pregnancy and breastfeeding, and check with your doctor if you take medication. Sales are strictly to adults of eighteen and over.
