Acrylic bong with an all over graffiti print
The print on this bong runs across the whole body. Flowers, butterflies and blocks of colour in a street art style cover the round water chamber and carry on up into the neck, so you see a different section of the artwork from every angle. It is not a sticker or a slip on sleeve, but a print that covers the full surface.
The shape is a classic bubble bong. A round water chamber sits at the bottom, the neck rises from it as a cone and then continues as a straight tube that serves as the mouthpiece. The bong stands on a separate black foot, and there is a kickhole in the side of the water chamber. The chillum and bowl are metal and sit at an angle in the chamber.
Taking it apart and cleaning it
The foot unscrews from the water chamber, and the chillum pulls out of the grommet and comes apart in two pieces. That leaves you with a handful of separate parts, which helps if the bong travels in a bag and helps even more at cleaning time. Rinse the parts after a session and put everything back together. Keep in mind that acrylic does not cope with boiling water. Lukewarm water, a drop of washing up liquid and a bottle brush do the job just as well.
Acrylic instead of glass
You notice the difference with glass the first time the bong tips over. Acrylic gives where glass breaks, and it saves a lot of weight as well. That makes this model suited to sessions where the bong gets passed around or leaves the house. The trade off is that acrylic is softer than glass and picks up scratches more easily, so store it on its own rather than loose among keys and lighters.
