Fill the bong with water until the diffuser sits just below the surface and, if you like, rest some ice cubes on the notches. Place the bowl, fill with herbs and light while drawing through the mouthpiece. A diffuser needs a bit more attention when cleaning: rinse regularly with isopropyl alcohol (at least 90%) and warm water so the small openings stay clear.
