Stash Book Starry Night - Van Gogh book box

Stash Book Starry Night: art book outside, storage box inside

A bookcase is one of the least conspicuous places to keep things. This stash book by Magnetic Stash plays on that: the outside is printed like a book featuring The Starry Night by Vincent van Gogh, the 1889 painting with the swirling night sky. Underneath sits a sturdy wooden box measuring 18 x 13 x 5 cm. Browse our other stash products too.

What's inside

The box holds a loose wooden holder. Stand it up as a rest for your rolling paper, so you roll in one spot and nothing slides away. Take the holder out and the whole inside is free for small items such as a lighter, tips or a mini grinder.

Where to put it

• Between other books on a shelf

• On your bedside or coffee table, as decoration

• In a drawer or cupboard, the flat size fits almost anywhere

Keeping it nice

Dust the cover with a dry cloth and keep the book out of direct sunlight, or the print will fade faster. Don't put wet cups on it, wood absorbs moisture and can warp.

Frequently asked questions

Does it keep smells in?
No. It's a wooden box and not airtight. For smell-proof storage, a sealed tin or jar is a better choice.

Is it a real book?
No, it's a wooden box with a book cover around it. There are no pages inside.

Do you have a stash that looks different?
Yes, for example a stash can shaped like a tomato tin, which blends right into the kitchen.
