Calea zacatechichi 2:1 extract: the dream herb of Oaxaca in liquid form
Calea zacatechichi is a shrub from Mexico and Central America. In the state of Oaxaca the Chontal have long brewed its leaf as a tea or smoked it, usually right before going to sleep. That habit gave the plant its nicknames: dream herb, Mexican dream herb, Aztec dream herb. Outside Mexico it found an audience among people who keep a journal of their nights and their dreams.
This bottle holds the leaf in concentrated, liquid form. The 2:1 label refers to the ratio the extract was made at: two parts plant material per part of finished product, so twice the concentration of a standard 1:1 tincture. Use and storage
