Blue Magnolia Ready to Grow Bag XXL: robust mushrooms with an immersive character
The Blue Magnolia is a fairly new cubensis variety, said to have come out of selective breeding in the United States. It produces robust mushrooms with thick stems and medium to large caps. Growth is steady, and in good conditions you get consistent flushes without big swings.
Its effect ranges from medium to above average. Psilocybin and psilocin give an experience that is often called immersive, with vivid visuals and a heightened sense of sound and music. If you are new to it, go carefully, as this strain can turn out stronger than you expect.
Ready to fruit
Inoculation and incubation have already been carried out under controlled conditions. That means you can let this bag fruit straight away, without a spore syringe, liquid culture or activation step. The large 2100 gram format gives the mycelium plenty of reserve for multiple flushes.
How to set up the bag
The sooner you set the bag up after delivery, the better the result. Choose a spot with indirect light and a stable room temperature, and keep the substrate in the original bag. Keep the elastic band around the bag on for the whole grow, it stops pins forming on the sides. The clipped corner at the top lets air circulate, so close it again with the supplied sticker after each airing. The Blue Magnolia likes calm conditions: the more stable the temperature and humidity, the more even the flushes.
If you cannot set it up right away, store it briefly somewhere cool and dark at 6-8°C, and never freeze it.
