PES Amazonian Ready to Grow Bag XXL: generous harvests from a vigorous grower
The PES Amazonian takes its name from Pacific Exotic Spora, the American spore supplier that selected and spread this cubensis from the Amazon region. Its mycelium is fast and strong, and that shows in the fruiting: firm mushrooms with thick stems and golden-brown caps that can grow to a good size.
In terms of effect, the Amazonian sits in the middle to firmer end of the range. Psilocybin and psilocin are the active compounds here. Users describe a clear, energetic experience with distinct visuals. Because the strain is forgiving to grow, it is a sound choice if you want a harvest without much fuss.
Why a Ready to Grow bag?
A classic grow kit needs an activation step before it fruits. A Ready to Grow bag skips it: the substrate is already fully colonised and moves straight into fruiting once conditions are right. With 2100 grams of substrate you also get far more volume than with a standard kit, which leaves room for several flushes.
How to set up the bag
The sooner you set the bag up after delivery, the better the result. Choose a spot with indirect light and a stable room temperature, and keep the substrate in the original bag. Keep the elastic band around the bag on for the whole grow, it stops pins forming on the sides. The clipped corner at the top lets air circulate, so close it again with the supplied sticker after each airing. The Amazonian grows vigorously, so after the first harvest there is often enough energy left in the substrate for a second or third flush.
If you cannot set it up right away, store it briefly somewhere cool and dark at 6-8°C, and never freeze it.
