Capsule Machine ("1")

Capsule Machine size 1: 24 capsules in one go

Filling capsules with a spoon is fiddly work. With this Capsule Machine you load 24 empty size 1 capsules into a holder, spread your powder across them and close them all with one press of the lid. Your supply for the next few days is ready in under two minutes. A size 1 capsule holds roughly 400 mg of powder. It is the smallest size we stock a machine for, which makes it the obvious pick if you find larger capsules hard to swallow or if you want to keep the dose per capsule on the low side.

What is in the box

You get everything you need to start straight away: the base plate with 24 holes, the holder that keeps the capsule halves upright, the lid that presses them shut, a spread card for distributing the powder evenly and a tamper for packing it down. The empty capsules themselves are a separate purchase; you will find them in size 1 in this same category.

How it works

1. Pull the capsules apart and set the bottom halves in the holder.
2. Sprinkle your finely ground powder over the holder and spread it with the card.
3. Pack the powder down with the tamper, then add a little more if there is room.
4. Put the top halves in the lid and press the lid firmly onto the holder.
5. Take out the 24 closed capsules and store them in a sealed jar, dry and out of the light.

Choosing a size

Size 1 is the most compact capsule in this range. If you want more powder per capsule, look at size 0 (around 500 mg), size 00 (around 650 mg) or size 000. At Avalon Magic Plants you will find all four filling machines alongside the matching empty capsules, plus grinders and precision scales for getting your powder ready.
