Satya Spiritual Aura: Nag Champa with a sweet floral accent

Nag Champa is not one single scent but a family: a base of sandalwood powder and resins, blended with different flower oils depending on the variety. Spiritual Aura belongs to that range and stands out for the sweet floral note sitting on top of the warm wood. The paste is rolled around a bamboo stick by hand and then dried, so the fragrance comes from the mixture itself rather than from a layer of perfume sprayed on afterwards.

The format matches the other Satya boxes: 15 grams, in practice around 12 to 15 sticks. Because they are hand rolled, thickness varies slightly from stick to stick and so does burn time; expect somewhere around 30 to 45 minutes. One stick is enough for a living room, and the scent lingers for hours afterwards. The orange box carries the Satya logo and the name Shrinivas Sugandhalaya LLP.

How to burn incense sticks

Light the tip, let the flame stand for a few seconds, then blow it out so the stick glows and gives off a thin trail of smoke. Place it in a holder or in a pot of sand, on a surface that can handle falling ash. Allow for some ventilation and never leave a burning stick unattended.
