GHB test by Dope or Nope: a kit that looks at one substance
Where the General test from Dope or Nope covers a long list of substances, this kit examines a single one: 4-hydroxybutyric acid, shortened to GHB on the box. It usually circulates as a colourless liquid, which leaves very little for the naked eye to go on. A reagent test turns that into a colour reaction you can hold against the chart supplied with it.
There is not much to it. Take the ampoule with the reagent, break it open and add the sample. Rotate the top you removed, place it back on the ampoule and compare the colour with the table. No equipment is involved and the kit fits in an inside pocket.
Reading the result
If the colour matches the card, that points to the substance in question probably being present. The test says nothing about how strong the sample is, and whether something else is in there as well stays out of view. If no colour change appears, or a different shade shows up, the substance from the table has not been demonstrated and you still do not know what you are holding; that may be harmless, or it may not. Dope or Nope neither condones nor condemns use, but does state that safe use of drugs does not exist. Using the test is at your own risk.
Handling the ampoule safely
The ampoule holds a strong acid. Keep it away from children, avoid contact with eyes and skin, and rinse with plenty of water if it does touch you. - 2. Break the ampoule and add the sample of your drugs
