4-FMP / 4-FA Test by Dope or Nope: a reagent test based on colour
This test kit is built to check a sample for 4-fluoroamphetamine, the substance also called 4-FA or 4-FMP. You get a glass ampoule with reagent and a colour chart to read the reaction against. Running the test takes a couple of minutes.
Reagent tests rely on discolouration: the reagent reacts with the substance in your sample, and the colour and the speed of that reaction say something about its content. A test like this is meant to expose market pollution, meaning it helps you see whether a sample contains something other than what it is sold as.
How to run the test
- Take the ampoule with the test reagent
- Break the ampoule and add a small sample
- Rotate the cap you just removed
- Put the cap back on the ampoule
- Compare the colour with the supplied chart
What the result does and does not tell you
If you see a colour that appears on the chart, the sample probably contains (part of) the matching substance. That says nothing about purity, nothing about the amount of active substance and nothing about how safe the sample is, since something the test does not recognise may be present as well. If there is no reaction or an unexpected colour, you are at least not dealing with any of the substances in the chart, but what it actually is remains unknown. Using the test is at your own risk, and there is no safe use of drugs.
About Dope or Nope
