THC Saliva Test Rausch Radar T3 - 3 ng/ml

Sensitive self-test with a low threshold

The THC Saliva Test Rausch Radar T3 is a sensitive self-test that lets you check at home whether there are still traces of THC in your saliva. The detection limit sits at 3 ng/ml. That is a low threshold, which means the test still picks up small amounts that a less sensitive test would miss.

A different detection window from urine tests

Saliva tests cover a different time window than urine tests. Where urine tests mainly detect metabolites that stay in the body for days or weeks, a saliva test reveals whether active THC is still present in your oral cavity. That translates to a detection window of roughly half an hour to 24 hours after smoking weed or using edibles. For anyone who wants to check recent use, that is a practical time frame.

How the test works

The test runs on an immunoassay. You collect a saliva sample with the supplied sponge, bring it into contact with the test strip and read the result after the stated time. Two lines mean negative, a single line in the control area means positive. The instruction leaflet walks through each step.

For the moments when you want certainty

Plenty of users reach for a saliva test for that one moment when it helps to know where you stand. A night out with something important on the agenda the next morning. A few days off from smoking weed, wondering if it still shows. A friend wanting to check how their body handles a small amount. The low 3 ng/ml threshold paints a sharper picture in those situations than tests with a higher cut-off.

What a self-test is and is not

Worth keeping in mind: a self-test provides an indication, not legal proof. The outcome depends on correct handling, the time since use and individual factors such as metabolism. The test is not intended for medical diagnosis and does not replace laboratory analysis.

Single use and storage

The Rausch Radar T3 is single-use and comes hygienically packaged. Store it dry, at room temperature and away from direct sunlight. You can find other variants and drug tests in our drug test category.

What is the THC Saliva Test Rausch Radar T3

The Rausch Radar T3 is an immunochemical self-test that detects THC in saliva from a concentration of 3 ng/ml. It is a single-use, qualitative test that gives an indication of recent consumption of cannabis or other products containing tetrahydrocannabinol.

Active compounds

The test itself contains no active compounds. It reacts to tetrahydrocannabinol (THC), the psychoactive substance in cannabis. The assay uses antibodies that specifically bind to THC molecules in the saliva sample.

Instructions for use

Do not eat, drink or smoke in the 10 minutes before sampling. Take the sponge from its packaging and hold it under your tongue until it is saturated with saliva, usually 3 to 5 minutes. Place the sponge in the collection chamber, close it and follow the leaflet steps to apply the fluid to the test cassette. Read the result within the time window given in the instructions.

Dosage

Not applicable. This is a single-use diagnostic test, not a consumable product.

Effects

The test delivers a visual outcome: two lines means negative (no THC above the threshold), one line in the control area means positive (THC above 3 ng/ml present). No lines, or only a test line without a control line, means the test is invalid.

Legality

Drug tests are freely available in the Netherlands and most EU countries. Self-tests are intended for personal use and are not accepted as legal proof. Check local rules before shipping abroad.

Difference with other THC tests

A urine test for THC measures metabolites (THC-COOH) and can still be positive days or weeks after use. A saliva test measures active THC and targets a window of roughly 0.5 to 24 hours. The 3 ng/ml cut-off of the Rausch Radar T3 is more sensitive than many standard saliva tests on the consumer market, which often sit at 12 or 25 ng/ml.

Frequently asked questions

How long after use is THC detectable in saliva?

In most cases between 30 minutes and 24 hours after smoking or oral intake. Frequent users may see a slightly longer window. Occasional users generally show a shorter one.

Is the result legally binding?

No. A self-test provides a personal indication. Official use requires laboratory analysis through a doctor or certified testing service.

Can CBD or hemp oil trigger a false positive?

Pure CBD isolate without THC should not produce a positive result. Full-spectrum products contain small traces of THC that can lead to a positive result with frequent use.

Warnings

Not suitable for medical diagnosis. Do not use to determine fitness to drive in a legal context. Keep out of reach of children. Do not use after the expiry date.

Storage

Store the test between 2 and 30 degrees Celsius. Keep the packaging dry, avoid direct sunlight and do not freeze. The test is valid until the date printed on the pack.
