Kratom X Blue Lilly Liquid: two extracts in a 10 ml bottle
This liquid extract comes from Kratopia, a brand you spot on the kratom shelf by its green shield logo on a purple label. The bottle is brown glass, closes with a black screw cap and holds 10 ml. The bottom of the label spells out what is inside: kratom x blue lilly liquid. The ingredient list names a kratom extract and a blue lilly extract dissolved in alcohol, at a percentage the label keeps below 14.9.
The two plants come from very different corners of the world. Kratom is the leaf of Mitragyna speciosa, a tree from the forests of Southeast Asia and a member of the coffee family. Blue lilly, also called blue lotus, is Nymphaea caerulea: a water lily native to the Nile that turns up again and again in Egyptian wall and tomb paintings.
