Red kratom liquid extract 3:1: red vein kratom in liquid form
Kratom is the name given to the leaf of Mitragyna speciosa, a tree from Southeast Asia that belongs to the same family as the coffee plant. After harvest the leaf is dried and usually ground into powder. The labels red, green and white refer to the colour of the leaf vein and to the drying method that follows; red is known in the trade as the variety that is dried the longest. This extract is made from red leaf rather than green or white.
The 3:1 ratio describes the concentration. The bottle holds the alkaloids of roughly three times its own weight in dried plant material, so 1 ml corresponds to about 3 to 4 grams of dried kratom leaf. Compared with loose powder that saves a great deal of volume, and the pipette lets you measure more precisely than a spoon ever will. Do keep in mind that an extract is considerably stronger than plain leaf: a few drops is the usual starting point.

The bottle is amber glass with a screw cap that holds a pipette. Dark glass keeps light out, which the contents benefit from. Shake the bottle briefly before use and store it cool, dry and dark, tightly closed and out of reach of children.
